Sierra Leone born singer, songwriter and producer Jonas had a childhood dream to become a singer. In this way he tried to escape the chaos and instability in his country.

In the early 90's, he and some of his ghetto friends founded the Earthian Roots. His inspiration is marked by spirituality, reality and his love for humanity. Peter Tosh is his guide and idol. Due to the continuous war in Sierra Leone, he fled to Senegal where he played a part in the local reggae scene for a while. Destiny eventually determined his leave for France, after which he settled in The Netherlands.
